  A Note from the Red Diner Today we have 2 new hires. Employees come and go in this business.   It seems as though our customers just get used to having people around; they start to joke and laugh with the staff and then we lose them and have to find new employees. The turnover in this business fairly consistent, and when we lose key staff we sometimes can lose business. We need to always be looking for staff the RIGHT staff and when the right people do come around;   we have to hire them even though we may not have been expecting them. When we have more than one new hire we try to start our new staff out on slower evenings. Especially when we are down a key staff member and we have limited staff available to train.
