HR and the 2TouchPOS System

2TouchPOS is a business management software. Recently we have received questions regarding what 2Touch can do to assist with employee data management. Employees can use the 2TouchPOS system to collect payroll information. There is a great time clock and messaging feature that can be used to manage employee payroll and shift messaging. Once the employee records are created they can be downloaded and used to generate payroll. The data is accessed through our Data Key system.


We were also asked about employee record keeping. 2Touch does offer light record keeping options that your managers may need access to; however employee tax forms and social security numbers should be kept on file in your human resources records vault.

  • Does the 2TouchPOS system store employee HR data (hire date, address  & phone number, etc.)?


Yes; the Employee Record Collection process provides data entry options for the following fields: First Name, Last Name, Login Code, Primary Job to be selected from the Menu Drop Down, Employee ID Code assigned according to payroll processor specifications, User ID, Employee Number, Phone Number, Cell Phone, Pay Rate, Screen Orientation (right or left handed) the job description can be selected and pay rate adjusted. The advanced section contains entry fields for a birth date, hire date, termination date,  re-hire date, full address and the time available and the schedule can be entered as well. If employees are clocking in with a badge the employee card is set up in the employee set up area.  We require the badge to be swiped during set up.
